- Photographs of a U.S. train that passed through Lethbridge in connection with the United States B-52 bombers that carried out low-level flying exercises over areas of Saskatchewan and eastern Alberta. The train was reported to carry tracking and radar equipment used in conjunction with the exercises. From Lethbridge the train went to Calgary, Princess and then Brooks where it stayed until the end of the exercises. It was officially booked on Canadian lines as the U.S. Radar Bomb Scare Train, however, the planes did not carry bombs or other weapons.
