Before moving to Picture Butte, Mrs. Parker lived in England till 1914 and was employed by Lady Redisdale, aunt of Lady Churchill. Mrs. Parker baked the wedding cake for Sir Winston Churchill and his bride, Clementine Hozier.

Scope and Content

Mrs. Alice Parker (Maud Jaycock) holds a penciled portrait of Lady Churchill and a print of one of Winston's churchills paintings. Both are gifts from Clementine for the cakes she baked for thier wedding and 50th anniversary.
