- Interior photograph of Andy Staysko, curator of the Sir Alexander Galt Museum sitting an a tin bathtub donated to the museum by Ormond Mitchell of Bow Island. The tub was brought to Lethbridge by Mr. Mitchell’s grandfather in 1896 in the days when water was delivered inb arrels and had to be used sparingly. Featuring a seat on one side, a niche for soap and just enough foot room, the tub would be hard on people who lost their balance easily; one moment’s distraction and it would tilt over like a buoy in a heavy storm.
