Scope and Content: Photographs of Lethbridge Herald staff member Judi Walker presenting two used Christmas trees and a donation to city fireman Ron Wekelen. The Youth Advisory Committee and the three local high schools in co-operation with the city fire department staged a city-wide blitz to collect trees for muscular dystrophy. Person who preferred to discard their trees prior to the event could drop them off with a donation to MD at any of the three city fire halls. The trees were gathered by high school students in competition on a sponsored basis. City firemen supervised a public tree burning later in the month.
