- Photograph of live Nativity production staged by the Church of Jesue Christ of Latter-day Saints at the College Shopping Centre for two weekends. An estimated 5,000 watched the pageant which ran for 48 performances. The case changed from night to night, with three complete groups of 10, with performers ranging in age from 10 to 65. An additional 15 member crew was involved including director Marie Smith and manager Norm Fooks. Mr. Fooks said he though the production had been more successful than in previous years, since it was held indoors for the first time.
