A copy of an arms plate placed in the Chapel of the Order of St. Michael and St. George, St. Paul's Cathedral, London, in memory of Sir Alexander Tillock Galt G.C.M.G., by his daughter Annie Prince Smith, and her husband William Harvey Smith, December 1929. Mr. Turner's late wife Muriel was the granddaughter of Sir Alexander Galt, her father being Harvey Smith.

Crest has ship and open book on plate, and above the plate is a knight's helmet, above that an archer. At the bottom of the crest is the motto semper paratus. In script writing below the motto appears the words Sir Alexander Tilloch Galt,G.C.M.G. born 6th September 1817. Died 19th September 1893.
