(7 x 5.5 cm) Portrait of Joan Rossetti (Princess Morning Star) sitting cross-legged infront of two tipis. She was the granddaughter of Fred Botsford (1880 -1958), a long time Lethbridge resident and Indian Agent. Botsford was the first white person honored as a Blood Tribe Chief. Joan was given the name Princess Mornign Star, earlier her mother was given the name Princess Omoneysa at the 1935 Lethbridge and District Exhibition.
