- The records belonged to Bernice Scott, donor's mother-in-law, who lived in Taber, AB (farm east of Taber) at the time. In the 1930s the family moved to Lethbridge. The child examined is Bernice's young son Howard Robert Scott, born 1919.

Also includes the Alberta Department of Public Health Mother's Guide Book distributed by Authority of the Honourable R. G. Reid, Minister of Health (1921-1923). The illustrated guide book includes information on pregnancy and infant care.
