The records belonged to Bernice Scott, donor's mother-in-law, who lived in Taber, AB (farm east of Taber) at the time. In the 1930s the family moved to Lethbridge. The child examined is Bernice's young son Howard Robert Scott, born 1919.

Includes two slips from Child Welfare Clinics held at Taber in July 1923 and June 1924 noting the development of Howard Robert Scott. Also includes the Alberta Department of Public Health Mother's Guide Book distributed by Authority of the Honourable R. G. Reid, Minister of Health (1921-1923). The illustrated guide book includes information on pregnancy and infant care.
