Scope and Content
Photographs of the University of Lethbridge coffee house which opened each Sunday night through the 1969-1970 academic year in the catacombs of the students’ facilities building. Admission was usually free, according to coordinator Linda Skackleford and offered a wide variety of entertainment both local and from afar. The first performers (shown here in the middle image) were, left to right, Dale Ketchison, a classical guitarist; Wendy Grigg, popular and folk singer; Morgan Gadd and Ron McRae, who played extemporaneous blues on recorder and guitar; and Robin Olson, a traditional folk singer who appeared in New York.
