- Copyright - Glenbow Archives. Alex Johnston believes the information on the front of the photo is incorrect. He believes this is the 1922 Airmail Flight because: 1. W. D. L. Hardie was involved but out of the picture in 1931, 2. The 1931 flight was Government -sponsored and they used Fokkers.
