- Photographs of five of the regular members of the Winston Churchill High School cheerleading squad who attended the North American Cheerleading Association seminar at Montana State University in Bozeman. From left to right, Gwen Kanashiro, Gay Nakamma, Pauline Loo, Kris Thomson and Judy Lee. There were a total of 190 cheerleaders attending the seminar from three states in the U.S. and three Canadian provinces. For their division in large groups, the Churchill squad won outstanding award, excellent award, and final evaluation was an excellent award. The team won five trophies in competition during the 1968-1969 school term as well.
