- History Biographical
- Until 1948 the municipal administration of Lethbridge was scattered in a number of buildings around the city. The building in the photograph was constructed in 1948 on the northeast corner of the former Royal Canadian Mounted Police barracks square, at 910 4 Avenue South. Cost of the building was $250,000. In the 1970s space ran out in City Hall, and the civic government again spread out into a number of buildings throughout the city. In August 1998 the building in the photograph was demolished to allow construction of the current City Hall in the same location.
