- Anna Wishneski was born in Bellevue, Alberta on 25 October 1917. She was one of six children of Wilhamine and August Wishneski. Her brothers and sisters included: Elizabeth (married name Rushton), Frieda, Martha (married name Cronie), Alfred and William. Miss Wishneski started work at the T. Eaton Company Limited in Lethbridge in November 1943. Beginning in toy department, she transferred to the hardware department and, in 1945, to the cash office. Miss Wishneski also worked in the company's wages office for a time. Miss Wishneski retired from Eaton's in 1979 after 36 years of service. Miss Wishneski's hobbies included crocheting and embroidery. She was an active member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, and travelled to the Holy Land. Anna Wishneski died in Lethbridge on 2 February 2007, at age 84. She is buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge.
