Birch blocks screwed to base of pine & Douglas fir veneer prevents jig warping or shrinking. Swing blocks used to push out cap strip near nose. Birch blocks 15 mm high allow two ribs in jig at one time with 1 mm projecting. Veneer (unknown word) and cross bars with bolts supply pressure. extensions push out capstrips. slots allow web to clear block... "
