History Biographical

Albertan - Canadian.

Donor's father (Nobuichi) was born, February 7, 1889, married Shizuyo (born May 15, 1900) in February, 1919 and they came to Canada in April, 1919. They landed in Victoria, British Columbia. They returned to Japan in 1920, but came back to Canada in 1927 where they stayed and farmed in the Picture Butte area. Nobuichi and Shizuyo had 3 children, George (Joji) born October 5, 1925, Shigeto born in 1930, and Mutsuko born August 5, 1934. Nobuichi died October 30, 1966.

Donor married Reiko Okahashi, August 18, 1956.
