- The fonds consists of four photographs of Mrs. Mae Matilda Main and Mr. Garfield Sabin Main and their family. Also also included is an autograph book that belonged to their daughter Veva Nedra Main.

- Garfield Sabin Main was born in the United States in 1887, and came to Canada in 1907. He began work as a barber, but had moved to the Sundial district to homestead later in 1907. A member of Lethbridge Lodge 2, Independent Order of Odd Fellows beginning in 1910, Mr. Main remained in the Sundial area until he died on 9 May 1976, age 89. Mae Mathilda Glidden was born in Wessington, South Dakota on 7 November 1890 and came to Lethbridge with her parents in 1909. She married Garfield Main and began farming in the Sundial district with him in 1910. The couple had three children: Veva Nedra (married surname Bahr), Ila and Ross. Mrs. Main was a life-member of the Alberta Women’s Institute and a member of the Enchant Senior Citizens organization. Mae Mathilda Main died on 25 September 1983 at age 92. She is buried with her husband in Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge.
