- History Biographical
- Nicholas Elaschuk was born in Romania in 1903. He came to Lethbridge in 1928 and worked as a labourer until his death on 18 August 1942 at age 39. He was survived by his wife Mary and two sons. Mr. Elaschuk's funeral was held at St. Peter and St. Paul's Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church on 20 August 1942, and he is buried in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Lethbridge.
