History Biographical
Cyril Roach and His Ambassadors was formed in March 1936. Later that year they purchased a complete set of new instruments and began to practice at least three times a week. Their goal, according to a report in The Lethbridge Herald, was to emulate the popularity of Mart Kenny and His Western Gentlemen, a band formed several years earlier.
