The fonds consists of ten black and white photographs showing three events in Lethbridge: construction of the Post Office building, construction of the 9 Street (Sage's) bridge, laying the cornerstone of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church at 318 10 Street South.

History Biographical
Mr. William (Bill) Lloyd was the engineer at the Galt Hospital from 1916 to 1950. He was married with a son and three daughters: William Thomas Lloyd (1903-1943), Mrs. S. Frederickson, Mrs. E. Sinclair and Mrs. C. Hislop.According to information supplied by Mr. Lloyd's grandson John Sinclair, Bill Lloyd worked on the construction of the Lethbridge Post Office before being employed by the Galt Hospital. As part of his duties at the hospital, Mr. Lolyd drove the each Superintendent to and from church every Sunday. Mr. Lloyd was an avid hunter and fisherman. It was in October 1950 when he was hunting ducks near Taber that Mr. Lloyd suffered a stroke. Nursing Superintendent Claudia Tennant accompanied the ambulance that brought Mr. Lloyd back to the Galt Hospital, where he died on 11 October 1950. William Lloyd is buried in Mountain View Cemwetery in Lethbridge.
