Scope and Content

Aerial view of Lethbridge looking to the west from east of the Water Tower located just north of the intersection of 3rd Avenue South and Mayor Magrath Drive at the bottom centre of the image. The major north-south roadway in the foreground of hte image is Mayor Magrath Drive wich seperates in to North and South to the right and left of the railway tracks at the centre of the image. The major east-west roadway to the left of the railway tracks is 3rd Avenue South which is home to a commerical district west of Mayor Magrath Drive. In the distance the Oldman RIver can be seen cutting across the image. At the far right the Highway 3 Bridge can be seen heading off into the northwest, in the centre image in the distance the High Level Bridge crosses the Oldman River to the west and at the left Whoop-Up Drive crosses to the southwest towards the University of Lethbridge.
