- Both ladies were active in the Ukrainian-Canadian Club. After the museum moved into the galt building they took an interest in it and single-handedly set up and equipment what was called "The Ukrainian Room". They donated ethnic costumes, blankets, and other artifacts to the museum. The younger Mrs. Romaniuk use to come to the museum to clean the room and clothing.
