- History Biographical
- Terry Bland was born in England in 1924. He was trained as a civil engineer and, during his years in England, worked at Cambridge for the Eastern Gas Board and instructed in engineering drawing and design at Wellingborough College. He and his wife Patricia moved to Canada in 1957, where he changed careers and became a professional photographer. He leased space in the A.E. Cross Studio prior to moving into his own facilities in 1971. He retired from photography in 1992. He was also an active member of the community and participated in a variety of community organizations. He also had a phone-in radio show from 1970-1990 and co-hosted a cooking show. He died in 1993.
