Scope and Content: Image of the businesses along the west side of the 100 Block of 5th Street South in downtown Lethbridge. At the left of the image on the northwest corner of the intersection of 2nd Avenue and 5th Street is the Galt Clothing Store which occupies the lower level of the Higinbotham Block. To the north is the Hyde block which formerly housed the Thompson Furniture Store but in the image the windows of the store are papered over. Next to this building is St. Louis Furniture and its neighbour Progress Clothing in the Hoffman Block. One door north is Klinger's Mens & Boys Wear. Next to this is C & S Second Hand and on the corner of 5th Street and 1st Avenus is the Volkswagon Bay Service Gas Station.
