- "Larissa Short sits with her friends in the back of the Route 12 bus. They were getting off at the next stop, but she has a much longer ride ahead of her. They give her a hug as they jump off the bus with friendly last minute advice. She uses the bus everyday for pretty much everything – to get to school, to get around, to help her in a quest to find a job. As her friends’ stop fades into the dark she puts her ear buds in to listen to her music – she isn’t a fan of talking to people that she doesn’t know." {Source: Narrative text for the exhibit 'Transit: Exploring Community in Motion']
