Scope and Content: Image of the west side of the 300 block of 5th Street South. At the far left of the frame is the Alexandra Hotel which is situated on the northwest corner of the intersection of 5th Street and 4th Avenue, directly to its right is the Ritz Cafe. The building to the north is actually two separate blocks: the Roxy Block which houses Capitol Furniture on its lower level and the Alberta Block, which contains the Saan Department Store. In the Oliver Building next to the Saan on the right are housed Stokes Drug Company, Buy-Rite Men's Wear, the Golden Gate Restaurant, Fit-Rite Tailors, and Mac's Billards. The building to the far right of the image is the Dallas Hotel which housed the Stockman's Lounge and George A Cowan- Jeweller.
