Scope and Content: Image of the east side of 5th Street South's 200 Block in downtown Lethbridge. At the far left of the image the Viking Barber Shop at 218 can be seen. Just to the right of that is the Provincial Government Building housing the Alberta Treasury Branch located at 216. This building has a false classical facade with two large square pilistars on the edges and Doric styled columns on either side of the front door. To the right of this building is Leo Singer's Men's and Boy's Wear with its stripped awning and red, yellow and black neon sign. Next door to Leo Singer's is The Yale Block which had The Pagoda Restaurant on the upper level and The Exchange Furniture Store on the lower. To the right of the Yale block is the City Taxi & News and on the corner of 5th Street and 2nd Avenue is the Lethbridge Hotel.
