- Photograph of Queens Scouts ceremony held at Cardston in which certificates of recognition were presented to 126 scouts. This was the second to the last ceremony of its type. The scouts were from throughout Southern Alberta. More than 400 people attended the ceremonies at the Alberta Stake Social Centre of the LDS Church in Cardston. J. V. H. Milvain, chief justice of the Alberta Supreme Court, presented the certificates. Guest speaker was Don Livingstone, general manager of Lethbridge Collieries Ltd.
