- Interior photograph of the Ukrainian Room at the Galt Museum. Mary Romaniuk (L) and other members from the Association of United Ukrainian Canadians, Lethbridge Branch in traditional clothing examining objects on display in the Galt Museum's Ukrainian Room. It was these ladies who volunteered to create the display and take care of its upkeep under the direction of Lethbridge Historical Society volunteer curator, George Watson. Left to right: Mrs. Mary Romaniuk, Mrs. Pauline Kuftlnoff, Mrs. Ann Proniuk and Mrs. W. Romaniuk examine some of the artifacts which have been donated to the room. These items were used for washing and ironing clothes and were brought to Canada from the Ukraine. In the background may be seen a couple with a young child in authentic costumes of the Ukraine. The occasion for the photograph was to advertise a tea and bake sale Sunday, September 29, 1968 at which former Ukrainian citizens and their descendants would gather.
