History Biographical
The Lethbridge Family YMCA building cost $1,046,000 to build. The provincial government provided a $100,000 grant for the project while the balance of the money was raised through fundraising by the YMCA. At the time the building was opened, the local YMCA had raised $965,000 and was continuing to solicit donations to make up the $81,000 balance owing on the building.
