History Biographical
Isobel Jolly was one of four children of Edward Andrew Jolly and his second wife Isabella Hamilton Duff Jolly, whom he married in 1912. Her siblings were William Andrew, Frank and Douglas David. Edward's first wife was Florence Irene Charton, whom he married in 1906. They had two daughters, Ruth and Helen. Florence Jolly died in 1910. Isobel Jolly trained at the nursing school of Regina General Hospital from 1941 to 1944. She nursed at Regina General Hospital; Galt and St. Michael's Hospitals in Lethbridge; Taber General Hospital; St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver; Civic Hospital in Ottawa; and hospitals in Prince George BC and Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. Isobel Jolly married Bruce Cameron, and the couple had two children: Trice and Beverly. [Source: Beverly Cameron]

Custodial History
The photographs were part of a donation made to the City of Regina Archives by Isobel Cameron's daughter Beverly. The City of Regina Archives subsequently transferred the Lethbridge-related images to the Galt Museum and Archives.
