History Biographical
The Alberta Remote Sensing Centre (ARSC) was created to administer and coordinate the province's participation in the Canada Centre for Remote Sensing's Airborne and Earth Resources Technology Satellite programs. The ARSC had specialized imagery interpretation equipment that was available for loan for carrying out interpretation projects, and could provide training on the use of the equipment as well. A technicial information service also formed part of the ARSC. Clients could request copies of technical papers and documents from this service.
