Prince Takamatsu of Japan receives a Native headdress from Mayor Frank F. Sherring at the luncheon following the official opening of Nikka Yuko Centennial Garden. Alberta Lieutenant Governor J.W. Grant Macewan is speaking with Princess Takamatsu at the left in the photograph. Mrs. Phyllis Macewan is visible on the right, wearing a hat. The luncheon was held in the convention centre of the El Rancho Hotel.
