Police James Carpenter, left, presents the award (cash and a crossed revolver patch) to detective Glen B. Michelson, who had the highest score of 275. He also received his 20 year service medal at the banquet. Others waiting to receive revolver competition awards are detective Frank Bathgate, second from right and constable R. D. Thompson, right. Detective Bathgate’s score was 258 and Constable Thompson’s 256.
