- History Biographical
- Credit Glenbow Archives (Na-645-7). The cannon was cast in St. Louis, Missouri by Horace E. Dimmick in 1846. It was brought to southern Alberta by Hamilton and Healy In 1871. John David Higinbotham purchased the cannon In 1892 from Dave Akers, and in 1929 donated it to the City of Lethbridge.
