- History Biographical
- E.N. Barker immigrated to America in 1882. He arrived in Fort MacLeod in June 1884 and went to work for the Cochrane and Muirhead Ranches. He took up a homestead and built the first house where Cardston now stands. Barker was locally, provincially, and federally involved in politics. He was a Police Magistrate between 1921-1925.
