History Biographical
Canadian. The second anti tank regiment was formed from 4 field batteries in England in 1940 under command of then Lieutenant Colonel W. E. Huckvale (later to become brigadier). They entered Europe on "D" day and fought through Europe till the end of European operations. The photo was taken at Lille Barracks at Farnbourgh, Hampshire, England. Some of the men were from Fort Macleod.
