- Canadian. In May 1929 the Lethbridge Kiwanis Club was launched with a total membership of 39. At that time, plans were made for the charter presentation by officers of Kiwanis International. President John H. Delf and other members decided that the club would hold its luncheons at 12.30, every tuesday at the Marquis Hotel. On Thursday, September 5, 1929 at the Marquis the K.I.C. was presented to President Jack Delf by Dr. Tatham of Edmonton, the International Vice President of Kiwanis.
