- History Biographical
- The buffalo, purchased from the Banff herd in July 1935, were used to promote Lethbridge's 1935 jubilee celebrations. At the end of the celebrations, the animals were slaughtered and the meat was sold to the T. Eaton Company. The heads were mounted and raffled off. The winner, Tom Niven, hung them in his meat market until it was demolished. The heads were later displayed in the clubrooms of the Pioneer Pemmican Club. Their present whereabouts are not known.
