- As indicated on the first sheet, W. M. Stein was looking after the Bernier farm in 1912. The donor indicates in a letter that the handwriting at the top of the sheets is her grandfather's, Mr. Thomas Bernier, and the entries for 5 and 21 June were written by her grandmother, Mrs. Cassie Bardet Bernier.
