- History Biographical
- R.S.M. in lower left is the father-in-law of Vi Davis. The Davis family owned the Pincher Creek Hotel having purchased it from the Lethbridge Breweries. Many men in the 113th Battalion were from Lethbridge and Southern Alberta. Jock Coyle, a Private in the Battalion (Not visible, but standing in doorway of second barracks on left) and A Steward in the Officer's Mess, was employed as a miner in Galt Mines 3 and 6.
