- History Biographical
- The Oxley Ranch was established during the early 1880s, at a time when large tacks of land could be leased for $0.01 per acre per year. The ranch was financed by British capital and had a number of managers before 1900. "Ranching with Lords and commons", sequel to "Ranching with Lords and commons, " From Home To Home," and "For My Children's Children", are books containing information about the Oxley Ranch.
