- A typewritten note accompanying the photograph describes the incident where the pony was trapped in the crevice. This clay bank is known geologically as the "Laundry Hill Megablock". Laundry Hill was west of 6th Avenue South near what is now Whoop-Up Drive, and was the location of the Lethbridge Laundry.
