- The Prairie Dell Beef Ring was reorganized on 27 February 1926. No information about the previous organization is available. The Prairie Dell Beef Ring averaged between 23 and 25 members in the years from 1926 to 1931. Martin Olson served as secretary of the Prairie Dell Beef Ring at the time the group was reorganized. The group was composed of farmers who each, in turn, contributed an animal for slaughter. The Beef Ring set weight ranges for the type of animal contributed - heifer, steer, etc. - and the members shared in the butchering costs.
