- History Biographical
- The Lethbridge Aircraft Company was formed in 1920 by J. E. Palmer and H. H. Fitzsimmons. Their one and only plane arrived in Lethbridge on 20 may 1920. The company built a small hangar near the fair grounds near Henderson Lake and established a suitable airfield close by. It is believed that the photo was taken there. The aircraft, damaged in an accident in 1922, was never repaired and the company folded. See "Wings Over Lethbridge" by Bruce Gowans for additional information.
