History Biographical
During the Victory Loan drives to raise money for the war effort, the corner of 4 Avenue and 6 Street South was transformed into "Victory Square", a gathering place for rallies to support the war effort. Thousands of citizens attended the rallies, which featured speeches from community leaders.
