- History Biographical
- As per information received from George Watson: John and Joe McKnight, Irishmen, were early Lethbridge pioneers. They homesteaded east of Milk River, in the Sleepy Hollow School District. George Watson taught John's children - Susan (the donor), Joe, Margaret and Bill. John and Joe were good Presbyterians and members of the Knox Church. They were also strong conservatives. Daughter Susan, eventually taught in the Coutts area. Information received 1971.
