History Biographical
The storm water diversion tunnel was a project of the City of Lethbridge. Mr. Stewart, a Fire boss at Galt Mine No. 8, was seconded to the City during construction of the tunnel. Mr. Stewart was a Fire Boss at Galt Mine No. 8 until it closed in 1957. After that he went on to become the Production Superintendent of the commercial camp production line at Pre Built Industries.
