- History Biographical
- Albertan. Kyosei Kohashigawa was born in Okinawa on October 24, 1889. He came to canada in 1907. He worked as a houseboy at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Fort MacLeod. He worked as a dishwasher atthe Dallas Hotel. He married Miyo Nagata in 1917 and brought her to Lethbridge. Kyosei worked in the coal mines in Kipp and # 6 in Hardieville. In 1937 to farm in Crystal Lake District then in Shaunessy, Iron Spriungs and Vauxhall. Since 1958 he lived in Coaldale with his wife and seven children.
