- History Biographical
- Albertan - Canadian. Toru Iwaasa: #M-35932; Rank - sapper in Royal Canadian Engineers Canadian Army (active) at Lethbridge 10 June 1941. He served in Canada, United Kingdom, and Continental Europe. He received 1939-1945 Star, France and Germany star, The Defence Medal, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. He returned to civilian life on demobilization 20 February 1946 in Calgary #13 District Depot. Toru's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Kyojun Iwaasa. He was born in Raymond, Alberta. He married Seiko Kinoshita and they have three boys.
