History Biographical

The donor, Kevin MacLean, has been a Legion member since 1995. He joined on account of his interest in local military history and the fact his Great Grandfather enlisted for the First World War in Lethbridge. Donor had no military experience prior to joining. In 1998 he curated the Museum exhibit 'A Call To Serve' highlighting the contribution of the local Legion. As a result, he was invited to get involved in a more active capacity. In November of 1998 he was elected tot he Executive of the No. 4 Branch and served a two-year term. He served on the Poppy, Remembrance Day and Membership Committees. Material was collected during his Executive activities or in support of ongoing Legion events/activities.
